K233 was built to a high specification, with options including the specially-ordered exterior color, lightweight carbon fiber wheels, exterior carbon fiber package in gloss finish, titanium Akrapovič exhaust, and Dark Energy Upgrade interior in leather. All told, the optional equipment for K233 totaled an incredible $115,450.
The racing variant of the latest Ford GT had the incredible task of a return to Le Mans to recapture the glory of Ford’s 1966 Ferrari-beating 1-2-3 finish, 50 years later to the day. Amazingly, Ford succeeded in achieving their objective, beating Ferrari once more for a 1st place class win and writing one of the great sports car & racing stories of all time!
